So I heard today that this group of conservative Christians, One Million Moms, has decided to boycott JC Penny because they have chosen Ellen DeGeneres as their spokesperson: http://onemillionmoms.com/IssueDetail.asp?id=436. Apparently they are a subset of another hard right Christian organization, The American Family Association, whose mission is to restore our country to the golden days of pre-1960′s America through a sort of Biblical tyranny. Apparently the Moms are upset because Penny’s is using an openly gay woman as their spokesperson. What is it with these conservative Christian groups and their hatred and fear of homosexuality? But more on them later…
The longer and longer I live, the more and more I see how religion is often used for the most narrow minded, destructive purposes. Some of the greatest haters in the world hate in the name of religion. Religion has probably been the greatest instrument for tyranny the world has known. The problem with religion is that everyone who seriously believes in God believes that their understanding of God is the only true one. After all, if God is all powerful and all pervasive, how can there be more than one truth? Everyone else who believes different from you is therefore ultimately wrong, and so in some way, tainted. As we see on the news each night, all over the world people hate and fight each other in the name of their God. To the Muslim, everyone else is an infidel. To the Christian, everyone who has not accepted Christ is most likely damned to hell. For me, I need a spiritual life, I need God in my life, but I do not need or want the constipated theology and bigoted hatred that so often accompanies religious people. Often the truest, most orthodox believers are the most rigid, anally retentive, unimaginative people I have ever met. I am not saying this is true for everyone, but if you read many of these conservative Christian websites or blogs, or just talk to the theologically pure, you will find some of the most hateful, spiteful, and vengeful people around. Of course with most conservative Christians they always make their statements under the guise of “Well, we really do love you, that is why we are telling you this”, but usually you can tell how empty that is when you hear them say. No, they really do hate homosexuality or most people that they consider wrong or sinful.
At this point of my life, I am simply sick of it all. Why bother, I often ask myself. Well, I bother because, for whatever strange and unexplainable reason, I still need a spirituality and a sense of God in my life. What I don’t need is all the other crap that goes along with that.
As society evolves and we learn and understand more about human sexuality, as more and more people discuss their own sexual desires and history with each other, fewer and fewer people will br attracted to the sexual dogmatism of traditional religions like Christianity or Islam. Already today, if you walk into most Churches in this country, you see few young people, and mostly old people sitting in the pews or actively involved in the congregation. Most young people are simply turned off by most Christianity. In Islamic countries people are forced to attend worship, but it would interesting to see what they really believe beneath it all. Who knows. But I think the greatest stumbling block to attracting people today are the outmoded notions of sexuality that most religions adhere to. Few Catholics follow the Churches teaching on contraception (98% of sexually active Catholic women in the U.S. use some form of birth control); and yet the Church teaches that it is a mortal sin to use contraception. This is a seriously schizophrenic approach to belief. What are the results? The rigid fixation of sexual issues, especially homosexuality, that so many Christian denominations maintain means few young people feel attracted to them. The lack of young people in Churches means that Christianity is a dying religion in the West. Hell, at this point we might as well go back to the old Olympian Gods of Greek mythology. They never really died out anyways, they just went underground for a while.
On another blog I enjoy visiting I was criticized in a comment section for “loving sin” because I write about sex and post erotic photos and discuss my own experiences with faith and sexuality. http://curmudgeonloner.wordpress.com/2012/01/27/can-a-man-be-holy-if-he-is-not-dominant/
What I find interesting about this “loving sin” theme among the conservative Christians is that it almost always involves sexual sin exclusively. What about the hatred and bigotry spewed forth by so many Christians in the name of God. No, that is not “loving sin”. Just read some traditionalist Christian blogs, if you don’t believe me about the hatred discussed. The comment sections are usually the ones most revealing. Blacks and homosexuals are particularly despised. But since these people perceive themselves as Christians warriors fighting for the cause of justice, they are not “loving sin” when they speak with such lack of charity towards others. No, it is only those in the sexual ream who “love sin”. I am not saying that all conservative or traditionalist Christians have issues with these things, many certainly don’t, and try to lead lives of decent charity; but too many seem interested only in imposing some sort of moral law on the rest of us, whatever the consequences or harms to others, all in the name of God. Their words and actions are often too filled with anger, bitterness and hatred towards others in the pursuit of restoring a golden age of moral purity to the world. The One Million Mom protest of J.C. Penny is just further evidence of that.
I make no bones about my sexual desires and proclivities. They are incompatible with traditional Christianity. At least I am honest about it. I still believe in God though.

This is what some of the Million Moms need. After that, they will no longer be so uptight about the "Culture Wars".
Now, as far the Million Moms are concerned, I am sure a few of those Moms have had some same sex attractions, if not experiences. I know a few are quite uptight. Uptight women need to be fucked. There is nothing like a good, hard fuck to calm down an uptight women, even one who is filled with every Biblical truth. I would love nothing more than to infiltrate their pure, cookie baking, home schooling, white picket fence world of decent, traditional family values and infect them with some earthy, sexual corruption. After all, one of my favorite things to hear is a woman crying out to God in the throes of sexual pleasure and passion. Also, notice the nice photos of those pure moms on their Million Mom website. They look so wholesome and conservative. There are few things hotter than taking a nice, socially approved housewife and fucking her brains out. Fucking the socially conservative housewife from behind while she is bent over her kitchen table, the same table that she makes little Johnny’s and Susie’s lunch, is one of my favorite pastimes. You see, a lot of these women have terrible sex lives because they are married to morally rigid, uptight men who are afraid of sex, and awkward in bed, all in the name of fearing God. Most of the Christian warrior men have no clue what sort of secret little slut lies lurking inside their faithful wives, waiting, begging to be set free. After all, these men, in all their moral purity have never even met her. Moral purity and good sex do not mix well. This means that more than a few of those Million Moms are ripe for seduction. This means there is a nice harvest out there for Racer X.

Dude, where do you get these awesome photos?
M. Bachmann would look good getting doggied like that!

This makes sense, sorry if I was unfair. I equated your belief in God with being practicing Christian.
I am atheist, though, hardly a social conservative. Sexual sin is awesome! My wife can surely attest to the very bad things we’ve done. I’m done feeling guilty about it.

Yes, I bet in her younger days Bachmann would have been a nice treat to do doggy.
Sexualwife,
Haha…a good shafting is beneficial to cure anal retentiveness.

IRL, I find outspoken conservative Christian women are almost always former sluts. I guess they emphasize chastity so much, because to them it’s a legitimate achievement. Like how fat people brag about eating a salad, or switching to diet soda.
I especially get a kick out of the Christian blogs where saintly Christian wives brag about being faithful to their husbands.
“Look at me! I’m so holy, I didn’t cheat on my husband!” If “not sleeping around” is considered a badge of honor, doesn’t that imply they view infidelity as standard behavior ? …so I certainly wouldn’t doubt you banged a few of these Christian women right after they sent their kids off to school.

I suspect a lot of these Christian warrior men are in the closet [or have really weird sexual quirks; like, being attracted to people dressed up as animals]. I mean, what sane straight man is opposed to rough, sinful sex with his wife? As a high-sex drive woman, I couldn’t imagine staying in a relationship with a man who only desires vanilla sex. Alternatively, I’d stick around long enough to figure out what his weird kink is. I’m a very curious [and kinky] individual, I’d wanna know!
I love my fiance because he’s physically expressive, despite being a Christian. I know he’s sexually attracted to me, and I don’t have to feel guilty about getting physical with him as well.
But I think the greatest stumbling block to attracting people today are the outmoded notions of sexuality that most religions adhere to. I think young Catholics are just fed-up with the Church making hyperbole, non-medically accurate statements about contraceptives. Condoms don’t kill fetuses. Preventing insemination should never be equated with killing babies.
Slightly related to this topic: one of the reasons I left Catholicism was because I was scrutinized for taking Methotrexate for my severe [as in, I had a flare that nearly killed me] Rheumatoid Arthritis. Methotrexate is an abortifacient – i.e. it is so toxic, it kills fetuses. Before doctors prescribe Metheotrexate to female patients, they make them take a pregnancy test. They also advise them to use 2 effective forms of Birth Control.
As a soon-to-be-married young woman who might not be able to have children, I wish I had been taught that there’s more to being a wife than conceiving babies. I mean, perhaps God destined for me to adopt children? [Conservative Christians want to go back to the 50's. In the 50's, didn't infertile women often wear fake pregnancy bumps, to avoid the shame associated with adoption?]
Hell, at this point we might as well go back to the old Olympian Gods of Greek mythology. They never really died out anyways, they just went underground for a while.
Paganism still exists in many countries. For example, Japanese are primarily Shinto-Buddhists. it’s a Pagan [albeit Animistic] faith.

Bleh, didn’t include full paragraph:
***I love my fiance because he’s physically expressive, despite being a Christian. I know he’s sexually attracted to me, and I don’t have to feel guilty about getting physical with him as well. I know we’ll be able to live up to our full potentials in the bedroom. I think it’s wrong for the Church to try to inhibit married couples’ sex lives, because they’re implying there’s something inherently sinful about sex, even in the context of marriage. They create frigidness that will weakens marriages. I mean, I don’t want to lead my [future] husband into sin. If the Church says all sex that isn’t vanilla sex is sinful, than perhaps I’d sleep with a man like Racer X
to fulfill my kinky desires; hence, sparing my [future] husband from hell? [wait, isn't that why men often have mistresses? Virgin/Whore-complex, much?] Although, I find the concept of leading a man to hell via sex, insanely hot. I aspire to be so kinky, sex with me is instant damnation.

I would be more than happy to fulfill your kinky desires. Think of it as in investment in your future marriage. Your future husband will be more than satisfied.

Damn. I think it is time for a special post about Butterfly Flower.

Oh, no, that was a hypothetical situation. I was trying to explain how “Church imposing on a couple’s sex life” could lead to a virgin/whore complex, frigidity, and outright infidelity.
Don’t worry, my fiance is kinky. He’s Japanese
kinkiness is kinda Japan’s national pastime. However, there’s always the possibility for a three-way. Personally, I’d prefer a 3-way with another woman [um, did I ever mention my bisexuality?] but if my fiance wanted a guy involved, Racer X sounds fun.
I wanna know more about your kink side, Butterfly
Women, *lights a cigarette* spanking, light bondage [i.e. shibari] & wearing cute panties that I can tease with.
PS: if I ever cheated on my future husband, I assure you – it wouldn’t be with a man [although I love him and don't plan to ever cheat on him].

What does “shibari” mean in Japanese?
“PS: if I ever cheated on my future husband, I assure you – it wouldn’t be with a man [although I love him and don't plan to ever cheat on him].”
Well if you cheat on him with a woman, please make a video of it and send me a copy…haha. Although I find it interesting that you say you don’t “plan” on cheating on him. Sounds like you are leaving a little room for opportunity there…
That’s ok Butterfly, yours secrets are safe with me.

It’s a verb meaning “to tie/bind”. Technically it isn’t the correct term for Japanese bondage – Kinbaku [i.e. "tight binding"] is more appropriate.
Although I find it interesting that you say you don’t “plan” on cheating on him. Sounds like you are leaving a little room for opportunity there…

Seriously man — you may be missing the point. Everyone’s desires and proclivities are incompatible with traditional Christianity. That’s the point of religion, to teach you that you are more than just an animal and attempt to conform your behavior to comport with a higher standard. The people in Church aren’t there because they they are free have those proclivities (I mean fer christ’s sake that’s obvious), they are they because they are not fee of them and they choose to try and better themselves or at least take a stab at it. (Sheesh Rolls Eyes Shakes Head)

1) We know damn well. 2) We met her that’s why we married her. 3) Moral purity and good sex don’t mix — umm how many years you been married to the same woman skippy?
You are like a fountain of anti wisdom at this point dude . . .
A good woman – always fucks like a bad one in the hands of a man she trusts. A truly bad woman never finds a man she really trusts. Take a survey if you dare . . .
